Marquis Makes a Large Promise
06/14/2012 – Independence, Ore. – Portable hot tubs manufacturer Marquis is making a large promise, a promise to rejuvenate minds and bodies with its new 2012 Promise hot tub. The new spa is designed to welcome six people with its multilevel seating configuration.
“The Promise hot tub is not only gorgeous with its sleek lines,” said John Schrenk, Marquis’ President. “It can go from soothing, restful nirvana to a powerful, muscular giant with the mere touch of a button, especially in the two pump version. I think the power this tub is capable of will surprise a lot of bathers, in a good way.”
The Comfort Control panel is directed towards the interior for bather convenience. The seven button panel is user-friendly and includes a unique Quiet Soak feature. This, in combination with the dual-speed pump, allows soakers to receive either a high-speed stimulating massage, a low-speed gentle massage, or with one touch of the Quiet Soak button, achieve total soaking peace.
The seating in the Promise has something for everyone. The entry step provides a safe surface to guide the bather into the tub, and the cool-down seat keeps the heart above the heat. There’s an elevated therapy seat with upper back jets and leg jets that aim to loosen up the back of the legs. A side seat features upper and mid back jets and is the perfect position to benefit from the footwell jets across the way. The first super deep therapy seat lets the bather sink down deep. It has neck and shoulder jets, adjustable flow back jets, as well as leg jets. In addition, footwell therapy jets are accessible. The second deep therapy seat has an arch of shoulder jets, mid and lower back jets, plus leg jets. Another side seat offers upper, mid and lower massage. The last seat is another elevated therapy seat, just a few inches shallower than the first with four back jets and a pair of leg jets.
The Promise is packed with amenities. Two cushioned headrests are standard, as are two spouting water features. Marquis has added some reflexology therapy in the river rock footwell and the two-pump version has two Geyser jets for added foot therapy. Consumers can add Aroma Infusions for pleasing aromatherapy. The entertainment can be enhanced with Adagio Audio featuring an iPod dock, subwoofer, four surface speakers, and a remote control. Marquis’ Constellation LED lights are also available. To create a backyard escape, consumers can add Marquis Environments to their Promise spa. Environments are a collection of modular steps, benches and cabinets that coordinate perfectly with a Promise.
