Along with other agenda items, Julie Woodward, Forest Education Program Manager, with Oregon Forests Resources Institute will be discussing the Pavilion Project. This permanent outdoor covered shelter will be used for educational programs and public events at the 15-acre Rediscovery Forest at the Oregon Gardens. We will get a chance to see the site after the meeting.

This project is another way to tie in the local students for them to use this as a learning experience and find out more about the construction industry.

This is a community project and we’d like as many SCA members to be involved as possible. It is a best cost project with many opportunities.
