Raymond Burstedt, is President of SEDCOR. Ray brings a wealth of economic development experience, having served as Executive Director of the Bannock Development Corporation, the Pocatello Development Authority and the Industrial Development Corporation of Pocatello, Idaho. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Idaho State University and an Economic Development Certification from the University of Oklahoma. His background also includes work in business consulting, small business development, banking and the oil industry. Ray, is Past President, of the Idaho Economic Development Association.
Ray is committed to economic development with his many years of involvement in Idaho. He served as Past President, Idaho Economic Development Association; Board of Directors, Greater Pocatello Chamber of Commerce; Chair of Legislative Committee, Idaho Economic Development Association; and as Member, International Economic Development Council. His community affiliations include Board of Directors - Idaho Youth Ranch, ISU Alumni Association, Masonic Fraternity, El Korah Shrine and Rotary Club.
Ray and his wife Teri, have five children and twelve grandchildren. Ray is a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was a Volunteer Fireman in Idaho for 23 years. He enjoys traveling, golf, skiing, tennis and fishing.

Susan Appleby is the Communications Manager at SEDCOR. Susan's background includes a degree in advertising design with extensive experience in graphic design, sales/marketing and public relations. Her responsibilities include the corporation's publications, website, advertising development for promotion and industrial recruitment, media relations and economic data research. Member of Public Relations Society of America. |

Nick Harville, comes to SEDCOR from the Woodburn Area Chamber of Commerce, where he was the Executive Director since 2004. Prior to that, Harville worked directly with a wide variety of industries, companies, provincial and governmental agencies providing management consulting, technical assistance in workforce development, helped develop business and financial plans and financing options for expansions and startup companies. He also worked with state economic development groups teaching workshops for consortium/cluster development.
Harville has worked with companies on exporting of products and spent time in foreign countries working through the Foreign Ag Service/USDA developing markets for Oregon products. He has helped to establish the economic development group for Lincoln County, after serving as membership retention and expansion manager for the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce. Harville is currently on the Board of Directors of the Agri-Business Council of Oregon, and Silverton Hospital Network Advisory Board. Nick lives in Silverton.

Kim Leighty, is the Membership Manager. She comes to SEDCOR from Associated Business Systems, where she was an Area Supply Manager. Prior to that, Leighty worked in Retail Management for twelve years. Her background has revolved around customer service and doing whatever it takes to make a loyal customer.

SEDCOR’s mission is to support and enhance the performance of existing and new businesses, and I am honored to be a part of the growth in our community. I was born and raised in Salem, and have watched the growth and am looking forward to what the future will bring."
Kim is a member of North Salem Business Association, Chamber Business Women and Salem Area Young Professionals.
