Salem Vision 2020 is all about tomorrow. More than a thousand Salem residents, employees and visitors have offered ideas to help create a new vision for Salem's City Center. One thing is clear - community members love their City Center. More than 900 surveys have been returned by area residents, employees and visitors with thousands of great ideas.
On December 5, 2007, some 280 area residents met at the Salem Conference Center to discuss their shared vision for the downtown - what they like, and what's missing. 24 leading ideas have emerged from the community discussion. The next step is to select the most important priorities. Take the Salem Vision 2020 Top Community Ideas Survey - select your three most
important early priorities for the City Center [click here] for survey link.
You can also join us for one of the community meetings planned in January and February and attend the Community Open House at the Salem Conference Center on March 11th [click here for complete information].
