June 25, 2009 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SEDCOR ANNOUNCES 2009-2010 EXECUTIVE BOARD Salem, OR – SEDCOR (Strategic Economic Development Corporation) the lead economic development organization for Marion and Polk Counties, announced their new Executive Board and Board of Directors effective July 1st. The Board of Directors represent a cross section of SEDCOR’s 500+ members from a variety of economic sectors. Dave Van Bossuyt, General Manager Distribution, Portland General Electric, will be the Board Chair, replacing Mark Shipman, Shareholder, Saalfeld Griggs PC. Shipman will remain on the board as Past Chair. Bob Hill, CEO, LCG Pence Construction, LLC will hold the Chair Elect position. Other Executive Board members include Secretary/Treasurer, Ken Jundt, Regional President, West Coast Bank; and Members at Large - Byron Hendricks, President, Prudential Real Estate Professionals Commercial Services; Tom Martin, General Manager, Forest River, Inc.; and Linda Norris, City Manager, City of Salem. New members on the Board of Directors include Jeff Corner, Principal Broker, First Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC; Alan Costic AIA, Principal Architect, Arbuckle Costic Architects, Inc; Ron Hays, Executive Director, Marion-Polk Food Share; and Sheryl Southwell, President, Specialty Polymers who moves from her position on the Executive Board. SEDCOR, is a private, non-profit membership organization, composed of over 500 business and community leaders.
