SEDCOR Announces New Communications Manager

SEDCOR (Strategic Economic Development Corporation) in Salem has announced the appointment of Susan Appleby as Communications Manager. She will be responsible for the corporation’s publications, advertising development for promotion and industrial recruitment, media relations, website and economic data research.

Susan’s background includes a degree in advertising with experience in graphic design, sales/marketing and public relations. “This is an exciting time to be joining SEDCOR, with increased activity in city development, a growing economy and a bright outlook for the area. I look forward to meeting our members and helping them keep informed about opportunities provided by our organization and new developments in the business community.”

SEDCOR’s mission is to enhance and diversify the economy of the Mid-Willamette Valley, by supporting and enhancing the performance of existing businesses and recruiting new businesses to Marion and Polk County.
