The Oregon Forest Resources Institute (OFRI) and the Oregon Garden Foundation have partnered to create the Oregon Garden Natural Resources Education Program for Oregon students in grades four through six. Rikki Heath, the program’s manager and OFRI environmental educator, stated that the goal of the program is to demonstrate to students “how natural resources contribute to our quality of life.” The program is open to the public and is funded by OFRI and the Oregon Garden Foundation.
